notes:
This supple, well-balanced
first vintage Sec is delicate and precise with a serious round body.
The beauty of the wine is immediately evidenced in the glass, a
pale yellow color highlighted by green and silver reflections with
a nose of elder flowers and citrus fruit to match. Tart fruitiness
from our Percze vineyard and racy acidity from Becsek in the body
bring life to the wine which begins cool in the mouth. A refined
minerality in the finish completes a wine with great finesse. No
traces of carbon dioxide are found in the wine, yet it feels like
the mouth is up against a crisp champagne. Press Kit: 2005 | Tech Sheet | Label
Reviews:
"It's invigorating, with the electricity
and petrol of Riesling but remarkably opulent, with rich peach,
melon and moss notes. The weight, complexity and fine-line acidity
hint at both richer white Loire wines (Huet's Noel Pinguet helps
run Kiralyudvar) and white Burgundy." - Jon Bonné, Chronicle
