notes: Spicy minerality
and peachy, quince-streaked fruit readily accommodates deft tones of extended
barrel aging in this firm Ilona. The botrytis sweetness is joined by layers of
caramel, raisin, dried plum and mushrooms. A tight structure allows the wine to
flex its muscles. A perfect match with duck breast in apricot sauce or veal in
sweet sauce.
