notes:
The '03 Ilona displays impressive
aesthetic characteristics. A luminous shade of gold with exotic
scents of apricots, white flower and lychee on the nose. A direct
attack leads to complex layers of dried apricot and fig flavors
on the palate. Its components are in perfect harmony: rich, polished
and concise. An embodiment of elegance in a lush, seductive wine
that pairs wonderfully with creamy cheeses.

Reviews:
92 POINTS (WS) "Orange and apricot flavors combine in this rich, concentrated dessert white. There's no lack of acidity, which builds
through the finish. Impressive for its intensity, rather than complexity. Drink now through 2022." - Bruce Sanderson, Wine Spectator Magazine
"Drinking this wine is like waking up in
Paradise. It's a very modern interpretation of Tokaji, with layer
after layer of flavour. As close to sweet perfection as I've tasted
this year." - Tim Atkins MW, The Observer
(Top
12 Sweet Wines | Life and Style | The Observer, April 2009)
"Even the oak in Hungarian. Round
with botrytis and really rather more like Sauternes than Tokaji.
Lively tang." - Jancis Robinson, Financial Times
