notes:
Our 2009 estate semi-dry is an expressive full-bodied wine made from ripe berries sourced solely from our Becsek vineyard. Barrel-fermented and aged in our 5 hL Hungarian oak barrels over a seven month period, this wine exudes the roundness and power that characterizes the wines of the 2009 vintage. The stony minerality of the Becsek terroir immediately emerges on the palate, surrounded by silky layers of citrus fruit, pink roses and notes of garden peppers. Textually dense, our 2009 offering presents a welcomed surprise with an elegance that makes it quite a foodie's wine. A wonderful pairing with cold shrimp, pork leg with couscous and veal chops.
