The Danczka hill stands apart from the hills that comprise the Zemplén mountain range. Shaped like a loaf of bread with a long southern slope, Királyudvar's Danczka field is the primary source of the charming Muscat berries for the company's noble late harvest wine, Ilona and the 100% pure muscat wine, Patrícia.

Every year, the harvest begins in Danczka. The microclimate in Danczka consistently creates the proper conditions for rapid vine growth throughout the growing season. Heavy clay soil allows the vines to easily obtain water and essential nutrients, helping the berries reach full maturity. Rolling fogs out of the Bodrog and Tisza rivers contribute to the consistent over-ripening of the fruit stimulating botrytis development, which adds the necessary sweetness, roundness and width to the estate's wines.
